About This Treatment
My aromatherapy massage combines individually selected essential oils with a full-body massage technique that I have developed and refined over nearly 30 years of practice.
I qualified as an aromatherapist in 1997, and my massage style is based around flowing lymphatic drainage techniques, adapted to incorporate deeper tissue work where I find areas of muscular tension and knots. This creates a treatment that can be deeply relaxing while still allowing me to work more thoroughly where your body needs additional attention.
Every treatment is individual. Your consultation gives me an understanding of any areas you would like me to concentrate on, but I also work intuitively throughout the massage, adapting the pressure and techniques as I go.
Your Essential Oil Blend
Aromatherapy is an integral part of the treatment rather than simply an oil added to the massage.
Following your consultation, I select and blend essential oils specifically for you, taking into account what we have discussed as well as your individual preferences. The blend is appropriately diluted in a nourishing carrier oil and used throughout your treatment.
The result is a highly personalised aromatherapy massage combining essential oils, flowing lymphatic techniques and focused deeper work, with plenty of time to relax and switch off.
